rear inspection cover plate with screws to fit the Weber 40 & 45 DCOE range of carburettors.
It is suitable for the earlier models & the later type which have a 7.5mm hole drilled in the centre.
The drilling of the hole was a recommendation many years ago to help prevent 'hot start' problems & seemed to work although no technical reason was given.
However all new carburettors are supplied drilled.
